Prevailing Wage

When I applied for an H1B visa, I was adviced by my lawyer to file part-time because my wage is lower than the criteria set by the Labor Department. I have since been promoted, got a pay raise and is not longer working part-time. From my understanding, there is no need to adjust status since the job description is still the same. Will this affect me when I file for a green card through the diversity visa program (I won this yeat)? Please advice. Thanks!

U should have filed H1 amendment

and possibly LCA amendment. You can apply for DV then.

The prevailing wage cited by the labor board is unreasonably high. I make more than anyone I know in my profession (with my experience) and it is still relatively lower than the number given by the labor department. Basically, you\'re saying it is a problem that has to be fixed? Thanks for your advice =)
