The prevailing wage for my position is much higher (18,000+) than my current wage. Will this be an issue to apply for PERM? When must my wage match this prevailing wage? There is little possibility that I can have that wage within one year or two. Thanks!
The 100% prewailing wage must be paid by the employer to the employee when the alien gets the green card. But this can some times raise a possibility for the service center to issue an RFE on employers ability to pay at the I140 stage since the current salary and PWD difference is quite significant. How big is your company? How well are they positioned as for as revenues are concerned?
