I'm planning to respond to my DV-2008 First NL (DSP122 & DS-230-I & DS-230-II) soon.
As a Naturalized Canadian Citizen with a Non-Canadian wife (Kenyan Citizen with a Canadian Permanent Residence Status), should I start getting the fingerprint work done by the RCMP in Ontario (I lived there for over 10 yrs), and also initiate the Kenyan Criminal background check for me & wifey?
I expect my number to become current in Aug-Sept, so I want to ensure that the window of opportunity does not close when I rush to Montreal for CP processing.
Any advice on how long this "trip to Montreal" will take for criminal check, medicals, and the interview process? Thanks
