Prepare for I-751 Interview While Working Out-of-State

I have been married for almost 5 years. I am a bit worried about my case because I don't stay at home with my wife very often in Atlanta because I could not find a stable job in this economy. I am working as a software engineering consultant, which means that I will have to travel 3-6 months once my company finds a new project. I have to work and cannot go to school in Atlanta yet because I have to support my wife while she is still in her Nursing school and her single mom has liver cancer and she also got a little brother. She is graduating this year though. It is very difficult for us when I have to travel to different states and can only stay home a couple of months a year for work (while I am waiting for new work) and work remotely from home sometimes.

I know this situation will complicate my case but I can't find a job in Atlanta for my career specialty in aerospace. I stayed home in Oct and Nov last year because I was out of work but now I have a temporary project in Arizona.
So I am very worried about my case. What do I need to prepare for my interview? Anyone else is in a similar situation? Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Make sure you and your wife have your explanations for not spending time together. Also after 5 years of being together, they will expect you know each other inside out. Go through the questions list for green card interviews thoroughly. Will be the same kinds of questions though they will expect you to know a bit more about each other.

Best.

Do you still have most or all of your bills and other mail going to your home in Atlanta?
Is your name on the lease or mortgage or title of the home in Atlanta?
When you travel to different states for work, is it in temporary accommodation provided by the company?
Do you file state taxes as a Georgia resident?
Do you file Federal taxes using your Atlanta address?

If you answered Yes to all those questions, you won't really be viewed as living separately.
