Premium Processing of F1 to H4 visa

Hi,

Please help me.

I want to know if there is something like premium processing of H4 visa.

My wife is on F-1 and I need to file H4 visa for her.

But her F-1 (EAD/OPT) expires on July 18th.

So, I am not sure if i file in a normal way, it will get approved by July 18th. So, I want to file for H4 with premium processing.

Please help.

If you are worried about status, a pending change of status ensures status. she is fine even if the h4 is not approved by july 18.
I dont think h4s enjoy independent premium processing. But one can always try. If she is not eligible for PP, BCIS will return the 1000$
 
I agree

F1 to H4 should be a no problem COS case. Problem would be such cases are put to the bottom of the pile when it comes to approval..so she could be stuck in the USA unable to travel..as long as the transfer is pending..other than that she should be ok.
 
Correct.

There is NO premium processing for an H-4. Sometimes if the H-4 is submitted with a premium H-1, the H-4 will be given premium processing but BCIS is under no obligation to do so.

Hi,
My wife had filed for H1B visa extension under premium processing and she got it approved.
Now I am on H4 till 8th sep 2011, My wife's employer is sending out my H4 petition for extension in next 2 days.
Suppose it takes 3-4 months for my H4 to get approved then do I need to go out of The US?
What would be my status after 8th sep. 2011 if we don't receive approval notice for my H4 visa until 8th sep.

Your help required!
