Premium processing for H1B exten @ VSC

Hi ,

Any one has any recent news on how long is VSC taking for premium processing of H1B extensions?

Mine was filed yesterday(Oct7th) and I need to travel on Oct18th.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

H-1B Prem Processing

Mine was filed on Sept 26th. Approved yesterday on Oct 7th. I checked the status online at https://egov.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/caseStat.jsp

Thanks for the info,

Please let me know after the approval how long does it take for the papers to approval papers to reach the lawyer/company so that we can take them.

BTW, is the receipt number different for premium processing? or will it be the same EAC nmber we got when we filed for the H1B extension in the begining?( My case was later convertted to premium processing, originally applied in July 2nd week)

EAC#

They sent an email right away to my company informing about the approval. I will let you know when they receive the paperwork in mail from INS. The EAC for my case is: EAC02-294-XXXXX. Its a new # for each case but in the same format as other non-prem. processing application. I filed prem. processing directly....did not have a non-premium processing case converted to premium like in your case.

Paperwork

My company received the H-1B paperwork yesterday in mail.
ND: Sep 26
Email acknowledging receipt : sept 26
Approved: Oct 7th
Email informing approval:Oct7th
Paperwork by Mail: Oct 9th.

I really liked premium processing...
