Hi all forumites,

My wife is the principal applicant for DV2011 and she is pregnant, the gynecologist told us yesterday she will be due on september 11th. I recall KCC mentioned in their rules that if there is any changes in the DV`s selectee status , they have to be informed.
Is pregnancy considered as a new status ? do we have to inform KCC ?

Our case number is high (CN:AF2011-88XXX) and according to other forumites experiences, we may be scheduled for US embassy interview at Montreal somewhere in september: so what to do if baby is born before or after the interview ?

U dont need to inform KCC about ur wife pregnancy. U will only inform them if she eventually give birth before ur interview and if she's yet to give birth before ur interview, then u dont av any problem also. Ur Consular officer will definately notice her pregnancy and they will attend to u ontime. Dont be scared bro, u are good to go 4 the interview. But make sure u inform KCC if eventually she gave birth before ur interview. U can send them an E-mail and i'm very sure they will reply u immediately on what steps to take. They will forward ur mail to the US Embassy in ur Jurisdiction if they know ur dew date for ur interview is too close. So it means that the Consular will be the one to add ur child to ur case. I hope this helps. One love bro!

I'm waiting for dv2012 result. The truth is, my fiancee was 3 months pregnant when we applied for the lottery, and believe it or not we applied as singles cos in actual fact, we are not married yet. We now av a baby boy and still not married. I'm still waiting for the result, then we will go for a court wedding instanly. And for the baby, he is doing perfectly fine. Thanks all the same. Much love bro.
