Hi. I am visiting the US of A this August '09. Me and my parents are going there for the 1st time for a trip (10 yr M visa; issue Nov 2001 exp Nov 2011) and we'll be stayin with our family friends in Texas.
Now, since I leave immediately after my graduation exams end here in June'09. I have to apply there to the universities for Spring '10 and I am likely to get admission in a few of them (For the MS ECE program). Since I am gonna be there at that crucial time I intend to apply personally. My test scores will reach them by then.
I read in some threads that one has to return to the home country for the F1, while somene else said that u can apply from there too. If I apply while in US, would I face any problem if I don't mention about my intentions at the POE? Further, would there be any problem on returning for the application in my home country if my visa conversion was denied in US?
please reply. thankq!
