I will be travelling on AP for the first time in 2 weeks. My case is pending in local INs in chicago for 7 months? I have the following Queries?

What all documents to take?
Any special precaution at the port of entry?
Anybody knows what will happen if I receive my interview notice in my absence?

Thanks in advance

Make sure to take all the papers you have

Here is what my lawyer advised me
1) receipts of the I-485
2) AP papers
3) Recent paystubs
4) Letter of Employment
5) Bank statement (latest)
6) if you have a copy of your I-485 filing, carry that too

Although the immigration officer at the port of entry did not check any of these things. He just stampted the passports and AP papers.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply,

Do I have to take originals or photocopies will work?

Also I am not the primary applicant but I also work on EAD.
Shall I have to take my pay stubs or my spouse's pay stubs as well
