Pre-Approved Labor

Friends,

I work for a consulting company and my current GC is in process with this company since 1 year, My client now wants me to join them as full time and they have pre-approved labor also, But i have only 8 months left on my 6 year , Is it ok to accept my client's offer and take the pre-approved labor to apply for next stages i.,e I-140 ., etc. As they have to go through my H1 transfer , H1 extension(7th year)

Ask your company's (the client, not your employer) lawyer about it! Or talk to your manager/supervisor.
