I just filed my asylum application, and I'm getting worried and anxious about the interview.
The story I wrote on my declaration is extremely personal. I've never shared with anyone, but my lawyer and psychologist.
I have been intentionally blocking out the memories for the past couple of years.
Now that I need to recall details about the incidents and describe convincingly to the asylum office, I feel sad and frustrated. I'm worried that I'll be inconsistent because my memory is hazy.
Do you know if there's a free, annonymous counseling center where I can practice talking about it?
