Hi all!
I am planning to apply PR in Canada. Please forgive me for this very basic question. If I get approved for PR..
-------- if you are applying Canada immigration to get IT job forget it and don’t waste your money, if you have other reasons you can apply, once you apply it may take 18-24 months to get immigration application to be approved
1. Do I have to move immediately to maintain PR status?
------ Once application is approved with interview or without interview they will ask for passport to stamp the permanent residence visa at that time you will know what date the Visa expires before the visa expiry you MUST land in Canada and VISA is never extended. Generally the date of Visa expiry is 1 year from date of Medicals
2. If no, how long I can stay away from Canada
after landing one can stay out of Canada 3 years in any 5 years to maintain PR status
and decide whether to move or not?
----- Canada has no IT jobs, Canada has only labor jobs, you have to start from zero, think twice before sending the fees or filing the papers, many who were working in IT field in US got Canada Pr and waited more than 1 year to get any good job in Canada and have gone back or going back to India as India has much better jobs in IT, Canada immigration is a big scam, they will ask you for any kind of job:” Canadian experience’ do you think they have different kind of computers?
