Just few days back , I have requested for my name check status so i have no complains ... by going through the posts in this forum, it looks like the time to get the response from FBI is about 3 months...

Sent email in Jan no response yet.

Called FBI front desk yesterday and they say right now they are responding to emails from November
 
sent e-mail on oct 22, 2004.
got response in feb 2005 (middle of feb).
be patient folks :)
correction: I just checked, it was Jan 29 (not Feb)

Sent email a week ago.
was intervied in October.......
Enquiry in January.
Answer was ."under review".Dont contact us before 6 months have passed.

Going by the Past record.of FBI name check enquiry.....
answer is expected august.............
 
they are processing Nov 2004 emails

spoke to a lady in that office day before yesterday, she said they were processing emails received in 11/2004. it seems there are only 2 people doing it, so may take longer.
 
I sent an email on October 21st 2004, and have received no reply so far.

Subsequently, my greencard got approved.

I just sent another email regarding my spouse's name check in March 2005, I haven't heard anything yet.

It atleast takes 7-9 months to get an email from FBI name check status inquiry. Good Luck!
 
Do we need to provide ssn

hi,

do we need to provide SSN and case details for Fbi Name check email, or would Alien no:, place of birth, dob , etc will work......Pls let me know.....

I sent an email with A , DOB ,address and contact details in Nov and I got the response in April

Do not send the SSN

processing emails sent in Dec 2004

Just spoke to a lady in FBI. They are currently processing Dec 04 emails. She said it will be a little while before I get my response.
I sent email on Jan 04.
 
Any responses to Januray 05 emails ?

Has any of you received a response to emails you sent (to FBI for name check) in January 05 ?
Any emails later than Dec 8 '04 ?
