When I received this message, I received the passport on the next day :) Yours will probably also come earlier than the indicated date.
 
Update: received Certificate of Naturalization in a yellow, letter-size envelope; attached was a flier stating my passport application has been approved and a fee receipt. No passport or card yet, though.

The only status I saw was that the passport is in final stages of processing and I should receive it by xxx date.

I received the passport the same day and 2 days later got the naturalization certificate too.

I applied for expedited passport on September 14 and I still have not received it. Online message says it's being processed. I was told 2-3 weeks for expedited but people usually get them faster. Obviously I am not one of those 'people'. ;)
