Hi all

Applied for PP on Sept. 8th regular processing. Any chances of getting it by the 29th? or should I expedite?

I got mine in one week, regular processing. But I think that was exception.
Did they cash you check yet ? If yes, call them up and ask about how long its taking now. They are in better position to answer it. If you have travel plans and need it by 29th for sure, you should have it expedited. But call them to figure anyway.
 
Applied for my passport and passport card last week. As of today, no check has been cashed and the status on-line says that the application is not found. I did put the travel dates for the end of October.

My check was cashed two days after. The online status, however gives me no date. I know I should expedite but finances are very tight right now.
Will call them to see...
 
Does the on-line status reflect anything at all, or is it the same message in red (i.e. that your passport application has not been received)?

It just gives me a tracking number and says my application is currently being processed. Also that I could receive 3 mailings, one for the PPT, NC and the PPT card.
 
I have received neither of the things that you have. No emails, no cashed check, no tracking numbers on-line. Very strange.
 
Check for PP and PC has been cashed, and I can see my status now on-line. This is after eight days since submitting my application.

Yes the online status said the application was in final stages of processing and that I should receive the PP and the Certificate by Sept 15th. did not mention anything about the card though. I would say it taking about 2-3 weeks for processing regular app.

Checked my status on-line this morning. It says that the application is in the final stages of processing and that I should receive my passport on or about 09/29/2009.
