PP stamping

Hi,
My case was approved on 12/13/2004 and again I got two mail for my daughter(she is 8yrs old) case that after approving your case we send you card....blah...blah but my and spouse message (we send u approval notice...) did not change but LUD changed to 12/14/2004.
My question is my daughter should go for passport stamping or we can skip her??

Minor does not have to go for PP stamping

Last month USCIS alsmost decided to cancel PP stamping for adults as well and send card directly but due to some technical snag they are continuing PP stamping for some time but in future after I485 approval they are going to send card directly to your home.My I-485 got approved on 12/13/04 too and I am waiting for my approval letter too.Usually they will mail letter after 4 days though online message says it was mailed on 12/13.so i am expecting either Saturday or worst case scenario on Monday 12/21. Please let me know if you rceive it earlier.Thanks
 
Your daughter does not need passport satmping?She will recieve the GC in couple of days.Recently my friends son's got GC within few days of approval.
 
Hi,

It seems lot of people were approved on 12/13/04. Mine was also approved on that day. I know it is the question which has been answered by other forums. But could someone please tell me which website can I make stamp appointment or should I do it by telephone? Since everybody said it's so difficult to make the schedule, I want to do it earlier even before I receive the approval letter.

Thanks for info, I already took her appointment for 24th Dec 2004.I will let you know once I will get my approval notice.
