we reached the newark broad street office at 8:10 or so. We entered from the Orchard street entrance, and there was a guard there that gave us a couple of tokens right at the door. We didn't need to go to the second floor to get these tokens, so we made our way up to the 10th floor directly.
There were hardly 10 people ahead of us. Within a couple of minutes of getting in the room, we were called to get our FP taken, and then asked to sit down (and not write on the paper given to us)
Within 15 minutes, we were called to another window, and the lady copied some stuff onto the paper I was holding. She took the latest EAD card, AP, and I-94. She stamped my pp immediately. My husband had to wait for a little bit for some kinda security check, but we were both stamped and out of there by 9:00.
Be careful - the lady who stamped my husband's pp made a mistake on the EAC #. I think its pretty common to make these mistakes!
