PP stamping: A# and I-94 while doing PP stamping. Two Questions

After GC approval, PP stamping question:
1. The approval notice for I485 mentions A# as A79-xxx-xxx
Usually in FP notice etc, it is mentioned as A079-xxx-xxx
Is the initial 0 needed? When we write the A# on the back of two ADIT style photos, is it needed to mention the 0 or omit it?
  Another question:
2. What happens to the I-94 in our passport. Do we retain this after GC passport stamping.

1) Ignore the leading 0 on the A#. Write xx-xxx-xxx on the back of your photos.
2) Yes, they take away the I-94 at the time of stamping. Sometimes they take away your EAD and AP also but sometimes they don\'t.

Dee Rod, Thanks for the answers. I was wondering abt the I-94, becos we usually surrender it when we leave the USA.
