PP Stamped on 5/23 : Newark

Yesterday, me and my wife got our passport stamped at Newark INS.
You can stamp passport on any day, but try to go on Wednesdays only. It took us alomst whole day yesterday(Thursday). We reached there at 10.00 and were standing in a queue outside the buliding more than 2 hrs. Another queue inside to get token no. We got token at 1.10. Another two hrs for fingerprints and half\'n\'hr more for security check. Our passports were stamped around 3.30.
 
Were people before and after you got stamped on 5/23 too?

I\'m a little confused about his posting since I couldn\'t find whether he had gone there before or not. If he went there first time on 5/23, so it\'s really bothering me since it means Newark is not doing stamping consistently. Could you let us know whether you noticed any new stampings were refused on Thursday?
