PP Stamped in Chicago

Finally got my passport stamped in Chicago. It was smooth process just took 7 hours. 10 minutes for stamping and rest of the waiting in line outside of the building, inside building and then back home ( from Downtown Chicago to Schaumburg ).

But Officer didn\'t ask any questions. I gave her my PP, EAD, AP and approval notice.

My wife 485 has not been approved. We received RFE for immunization.

What are the things (docs) did you bring for STAMPING. Is RFE the hold up in your wife\'s case.

Did you use the original or courtesy copy. Or does it matter.

Did you take pictures with you or they take it over there.

Whats the best time to reach chicago INS & what days we can Go.

I gave them original copy. I took pictures. Best time to reach INS chicago is as early as possible. Your letter will tell you what days to go. I reached there at 5:45am. INS office opens at 7am in the morning.

FYI:
Infact I din\'t get my original copy from my lawyer. Having waited for 2 weeks, I went with my Courtesy copy and got stamped in my passport. I got stamped on June 25, 2001
