Hi All,
I got my passport stamped at the SJC INS yesterday(05/24/2001). We reached there around 2:30am but there were lotsa people ahead of us. There were people who were in the line since the previous day. We had taken advise from this board and taken a jacket as it started getting cold towards the morning. The doors opened at 7:00am and the line started moving. We got our number is the 50s and got called at around 9:30am(we got separate numbers for myself and my wife). The IIO asked for my EAD cards and also AP (same for my wife). Luckily I had taken those with me as the approval notice had no mention of these papers.
He took fingerprints on the I-89 and stamped on my passport. He said the actual card would arrive in 6-11 months(???)
We walked out of the INS at around 10:00am - FINALLY FREE!!!
Ciba, is now the time that you add people to the Plastic Card tracking list? If so, please do add me to that list.
This discussion board is the greatest and we cannot thank Ciba enough for all the good work.

btw: I had got my approval on May 1, 2001 but had to get my passport renewed so there was a delay in PP stamping.
