My Passport Application just made into their system today. I spoke with the representative today and she told me that.
But i dont see my status online yet, is this normal ????
if I were you, I wouldn't check online. Many people rarely checked online since new passports will be issued very quickly and they receive them.
Did you expedite your application?
Mine was expedite and took 10 days door to door (Passport Card and NC).
Passport - 8 days.
Online status still says
Your passport application is in the final processing stages.
Your passport application locator number is XXXXXXXX.
When you applied, you requested Expedite Service.

Yes i have expedited my application by paying an additional $60 and also for Overnight delivery.
The customer service folks were able to pull my application and confirm that its is in processing stage now and that i had requested expedited service etc.
They also gave me an application number too!

my passport is in the mail.
I received following message

We have finished processing your passport, and it has been mailed to you.
You paid for overnight delivery. This means you should receive your passport on or about 11/26/2009.
In the meantime, my status online never got changed.
