Post RFE response times?

In My case
INS Received the documents on 7/31 and approved on 8/13. Does not mean this is the time line as there are lot of people who sent RFE response earlier and not approved yet etc. Only thing is for sure, when INS receives RFE Reply it will directly go to the officer working on the case. So, the time to assign etc are eliminated. Unless they transfer to the local office there wont be an interview. Transfer is usually not done after an RFE. So, good luck.

Guys Help Me - received rfe
RFE date - 8/15
RD - 8/7/01
ND - 9/27
They ask for H1 extension, employer letter, 3 months paystubs and Tax returns.
My employer has given me letter with all details and he posted my salary as x$/hr and not as yearly amount as i get paid hourly.
Will this be a problem???

I got an RFE requesting employment Letter, 2001 tax returns and 2001 W2 on August 19 th. My Lawyer replied back on july 27th. INS got it on july 31st. Once again the officer issued RFE on august 9th for Employement Letter . This is how INS works. He(The officer) got the employment letter along with all the documents. The officer did not chekced all the documents and issued another RFE. My lawyer sent employment letter along with paystubs(Eventhough the officer did not requested them I had asked lawyer to send them so that there won't be any confusion) to day.

My RFE was medical related.
We responded to the RFE a week later and the INS received it on Aug 7 2002.
My case was approved on Aug 14, 2002.
My case details are:
RD: 08/14/01
ND: 10/24/01
RFE issued on: 07/23/02
RFE response received by INS: 08/07/02
AD: 08/14/02
I do not know if the response time to a dependent spouse GC RFE is related to that for a primary applicant GC RFE. But, just thought I’d post my case experience all the same.
I wish all of you good luck with your GC approvals.

My lawyer has sent my RFE papers to INS on 08/15 and I guess the waiting game starts all over again.
BTW, per my lawyer:
Between RFE from VSC and case being transferred to local INS - it is better to get a RFE from VSC.

I also received the RFE on 08/09/2002 for RD 08/06/2001. Acc to my RFE I need to sumbit
1. Last 6 months of my pay stubs
2. Income tax return for year 2001
I had switched my job back in Feb 2002 after the completion of 180 days. My previous employer had also sent a letter to INS informig about my quitting them.
Should I still send the employment letter from my new company or only the documents being asked for?
If I don't send the employemnt letter will it be OK for the approving officer since the emloyer on my 2001 Inome Tax return is different than the one in my last 6 months pay stubs.
I will really appreciate the reply.

Just to be on the safe side I would say that submit the employment letter as well.
It is better to send additional info rather than having INS coming back and saying now we need more info which will only delay yr process. Also u may want to send them the letter that yr previous employer had sent to them saying u were quitting.

6 week celebration
Today is Six weeks celebration of my RFE receipt date by INS.
I called after 4 weeks, One nice lady said everything matched on my file
but i won't hear anything until 2-3 weeks. I am planning on calling today.
I will update you guys when i get hold of an IIO.
