Hello Guys:

I recently completed my CP interview at Montreal. I would like to specially THANK all the participants in the forum, whose experiences have directly and indirectly have helped us a lot. Everything was as expected (as discussed on forums) and few points were not told by my lawyer... If anyone has any specific questions, please revert to me and I can answer to my best..

Thanks to Mr. Rajiv Khanna, who has this idea of having a portal where knowledge is shared and accessed by all..

I have one question which is pending. I have just entered US with the papers, and had the I 551 stamped at the border just last week. Prior to this I am working in Toronto and infact I still have the job and have not moved out fully.. My petitioner, with whom I have worked in my 6th year of H1 has sponsored me with a CP so far.. Now that I am in the country, I really want to know my options. What happens if I don't work there since I want to stay in Canada for some more time and finish up things here before I move my family to US. How would I handle this without a problem in the future? I have stayed in Canada for close to 2 years and another year or so, I will get my citizenship and only then I want to move to usa...

Please advise...

Thanks, ST2000
