Possible POE problems during next visit?

I have a B1/B2 visa valid until 2013.
In 2007 I went on vacation to Kansas for 30 days but after that was I invited by my aunt to spend some time with them in New York.

My aunt encouraged me to apply for college which I did however I was unable to find a sponsor so I returned. I spent 6 months total in the USA and I did not overstay or work.

After 14 months of leaving the country, I went again to Kansas for vacation. The POE officer sent me to "hard" secondary inspection, where I was interrogated for about an hour and all my stuff included my laptop and email inspected.

The officer believed I worked illegally during those 6 months (and I didn't) so after not being able to find anything he allowed me in.

However:

1. Instead of B2, I was admitted as B1 and

2. Instead of 6 months, I was given 3 months (which was fine because I was only staying for 45 days)

I am worried about what could happen the next time I enter the country and the change of B1 instead of B2?.

I also have no clue about what the guy wrote on the computer. I wonder if I am in trouble or if it is going to be complicated for me to enter next time? I plan to stay 45 days only and I left the USA on Dec 31st 2009.

If you stayed for just 45 days last time, combined with the fact that over a year has passed after your last visit, I don't believe you will have any serious issues at POE.
 
You should be okay since you have not visited the US in over a year. Having said that, there are never any guarantees and there is only one way to find out :)

What I still dont understand is why I was admitted as B1 instead of B2 since I said all the time that I was going to spend some vacation time and not to conduct any business activity.
 
Most POE agents use B-1/B-2 interchangeably. It is a moot point as far as your situation is concerned.
