Possible GC in 6 months? Atlanta - GA
Hello all, my wife and I submitted I-30 I-765 I-485 at the end of November 2005 for my adjustment of status based on marriage. Just today 03/17/2006, we received our notice in the mail to appear for our interview on 05/16/2006. Assuming all goes well this means I should expect to receive my conditional GC in approximately 6/7 months after filing our paperwork. The quickness of this process is beyond any of my expectations. I was expecting our interview date to be in late 2006 or 2007. Does anyone else have a similar experience from in and out of the Atlanta area? I did not receive any notice in the mail stating that my I-485 has been approved. Would I be right to assume that if they ask you for interview, it has been approved? Is USCIS becoming more efficient? I would certainly like to hear from others who have shared similar experiences.
