Could this screw up my I-485 application. . .
Could I get a denial for this ???
I visited US 7 years ago on an F1 visa, but I changed schools, and my attorney didnt inform INS of the change. I was NOT declared to be out of status by an immigartion judge or by the INS itself.
Now 7 years later I am back in the US, and am filing for adjustment of status. Is it possible I could be denied because of 245(c) Adjustment of status rule::: that the individual should not have violated the terms of a nonimmigrant visa.
If so, how does the INS check that I was out of status.
Hope you can help
