Possible Connection?

I am on H1 and my wife is on H4. Both of us applied for EAD on the basis of pending 485 (filed concurrently). Our 485/EAD RD was May 25. I got an RFE on my EAD in 3 weeks, but my wife has still not received a word on her EAD (neither approval nor an RFE). It has been over 2 months now. Typically, EADs are being issued in 3 weeks. Is it possible that my wife's EAD is under a hold-up because my EAD has an RFE, and will be issued once the RFE on my EAD is resolved? Is there any connection? Thanks!
 
I think it depends on who is the primary applicant on the I485. If you are the primary, then her EAD (and possibly I485) will stay on hold until your RFE gets resolved.
I don't think your H1 has anything to do with the EAD at this moment.

Why - it's just an RFE on the EAD, not the I-485 itself.
 
Okay, just got an email notification that my wife's EAD got approved. This means that there is no connection between the RFE on my EAD and my wife's EAD, with me being the primary applicant for I140/I485 filing.
