Possible backlog of I-140 for the oldest applicants

With launch of PERM and no tangible progress of the backlog processing centers it is quite possible that the new PERM applicants will get approvals long before people who have been waiting 3 and more years in RIR and TR queues. Apparently those fast approved will file their I-140 and some who are not affected by the visa retrogress also I-485. There is quite a good chance that those new application will clog the system and by the time the old DOL applicants are ready to submit their I-140 (I– I485) there will be another backlog at CIS. Ask your lawyers and employers to do their best not to allow another unfair treatment.

The situation in next two years will be more worse than now. The backlog stage will move to 140 and 485. Two baches of people(one is from BRC, one is from PERM) will get their labors and can file 140 and 485. The only thing we can do is to keep your PD. THE whole immigration system is unfair but nobody can change that. I don't think employers and lawyers can help us. The employers just need our cheap labors and The lawyer just care about money. So keep your PD. Any comments are welcome.

As the things stand now CIS will start process the I-140 application regardless of the priority date. The priority date comes into the picture when the I-485 is filed. I referred to employers and lawyers as only they have some power to make the process little more meaningful.
I really hope that there are some of them that are concerned about something more than just money.
