Things seem to move fast until you get the FP done then it seems like a loooooong wait. All the best maple123
 
New processing date for Oregon

I just saw that the processing date in Oregon regressed 2 months w.r.t where it was in November. :-(

It used to take 4 1/2 months and now it takes 8 months!!!

I was hoping it was a typo but I-485 and EAD timings have advanced from last month.

Now it is at par with Bay area processing time. Is there anyway to find out why?

Lastest update:
I got my FP notice 12/22. The date on the paper is 1/14/05. Today, 12/23, I went to their office and got it done! I don't know whether it will help me, but I have to thank Subra61 for his information. Without his posting, I will never think of going there early. BTW, I was able to show them the airline ticket I purchased earlier this month(12/07) for a trip on 1/14/05. I guess that is the "lucky" part.

Getting ready to submit N-400

Hello all,

I'm preparing my N-400 application for submission to the Oregon INS office and was wondering if anyone could tell me what other documents do I need to submit besides the N-400 and photos? Do I need to attach copies of report from DMV, tax returns, or anything else? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, as I'm planning to send my papers in 2 weeks. Thanks a lot in advance.

Send them what they have asked for with the application. You can take your DMV reports and tax returns at the time of interview.
