Port of Entry

Hi,

I was issued a H1B from my previous employer in India but I had to quit the company to pursue further studies in Europe.

Can I enter US using the same H1 since it's valid till Aug 2007 ??

I know I cant get it transferred to another company as long as I'm outside US. but will there be any problems at the port of entry?

Will my company deactivate my H1 once I've quit?
