From where to get good conduct certificate or no-crininal certificate from texas. Is this required for filing I-485.

I dont think it is required to file 485..but they do a background check (somehow)

Good conduct certificate or no-criminal certificate is not required for I-485. If you have ever been charged with any criminal offence your finger prints are taken by the law enforcement agency that charged you and sent to the FBI. For I-485 USCIS takes your fingerprints and send them to FBI for verification. That way you can get a criminal history for an individual from anywhere. I'm no legal expert, but that is the general story.

I think you need this certificate if you go for consular processing, but for AOS, INS does it for you.
