Hi,
I am done with my I-140, and packet 3 is already posted by NVC yesterday. I applied for police certificate in San francisco indian consulate and I will be getting PCC after 12 th of august. Can any one let me know whether I need to waite for PCC before I send Packet 3 to St.Lewis? I have all other documents with me.
If PCC issuence date is later that P3 posted date, will there be any problems in interview?? My post is Chennai. Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks a lot.. Can you let me know any other documents I need to collect before sending P3 apart from birth and marraige cerificates?
 
the documents you need...

....Since you have all the documents that needed for LC and I140, all you need is experience letters form current and last employers. Rest of them are needed at the time of interview. For detailed list check confirm chennai/Mumbai August interview thread.
 
I spoke to my attorney just now. He looks funny saying that he is not comfortable mailing P3 without PCC in hand. CP Gurus... help with your expert advice please.....

Ask your lawyer to come out of his/her dream house to realty. Ask him it is your decision to send it so do it.

After P3 otherwise also there is not much need, you may post yourself.

Just curious, are anybody out there who did posted P3 before PCC. Were there any problems in interview. My attorney really pissed me off. Thanks in advance...

I have to apply for Police certificate at san fancisco. Can you tell me whether you sent your original passport along with the forms? How long do they take to issue the certificate?

Since I live quite near to Sanfrancisco, I personally went out to apply for PCC. I got it in 30 days. If commute is not a problem, I guess applying in person is best. I submitted a copy of my passport along with the applicaion. They will call you when they receive clearence from India. Decent service... no problems
