police clearance processing time

Hi,

Has anyone here had to get police records where the police records arrived after interview date? How did it affect interview?

We have interview in Australia in 2 months. However we need to get police records from Canada because we lived there for 3 years about 5 years ago. We are about to send the requests away now but according to the canadian police website it takes 11 weeks to get a police check!

They will probably put you on AP and told you to bring that Canadian police record.

Called Canadian police and they told us of companies in Canada that you can send finger prints to and they will electronically submit your request to Canadian police, which means we get a response in 2 weeks instead of 11-15 weeks! - Thank you God!

@tevolo, AP simply means ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. This connotes that the CO will collect every other documents from u and ask u to come back probably in a week time with any missing documents that u could not present at the time of your interview. If u fail to present this documents at the stipulated time, then its possible u may be denied of the visa. I hope u understand. One Love!
