Hi
This is for my parents who were in the Indian Air Force and moved every 4 years or so during their career.
On the DS230, I have indicated that my parents have lived in 7 different cities since the age of 16. Currently they have acquired police clearance certificate from the local police/passport office where they live after retirement. Do they need to get clearance certificates from all other districts that they lived since the age 16?
I was checking the country reciprocity rules here http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_4881.html?cid=3582 and it states the following:
Does this mean the PCC that they have from their local passport office is sufficient?
Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Police Records
Indian Police Clearance Certificates should be obtained as follows:
All Indian IV applicants aged 16 and above, residing in India, should obtain police certificates from the local Passport Office.
Indian passport holders applying for visas outside India should obtain a statement from their local embassy or consulate confirming they have no criminal record.
Non-Indian IV applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the District Police Station serving their area of residence.
Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) applicants applying outside India.
