Police Certificates

Dear all,

I am India from the last 5 months, my packet 3 has been approved and I will be receiving it shortly.

I guess I have to provide police clearance certificates and sendback the Packet 3 to NVC.

Since I am in India from the last 5 months, is it necessary to get the PCC in India for myself,wife and kid ? If so, what is the format of the letter ?

you don't have to send with paket 3 to St.Luise.


you should take 2 PCCs from Regional passport office and local police station.

you have to get the PCC for all the applicants whoever crossed 16 yrs.

it's one of the important document which is required for interview.
Consulates are very particular on PCCs.

PCC in India

Hi, I am in a similar situation. I got a PCC from the police commissioner's office in Bangalore - fairly straightforward process. I am now trying to figure out how to get the PCC from the passport office - seems to be a very involved process. Will let you know how it goes.
