Police Certificates from US

Hi,

I have a question:

Should and can I obtain police certificate covering J1 (Au-pair stay) in the US and stay for B-2 visa (travelling in US)?

I could not find this information anywhere and honestly I am not sure if I was in one of these cases a "resident".

Thank so much in advance for any advice.
 
No, you do not need to apply for US police certificates.
This is clearly stated in both the NL and the 2nd package.
For other countries, you have to ask for them yourself : be careful, it may take a long time depending on the country.

I knew I saw it once. So, I did search for "police certificates", and there it was. You know, you can trust LucyMo. ;)
