Police certificate

Hi all i am dv 2014 derivative and i have a question regarding police certificate
1. I had live in UK for 5 years before 6 years ago but now i renewed my passport.. do i still needed police c eventhough i renewed my pp?

If you were over 16 when you lived in the UK and you're yet to do your interview as a DV 2014 selectee, then yes you need a PCC. This requirement is independent of wether one has a recently renewed or a valid passport for that country in question or not
 
This whole question bemuses me completely to be honest. Where in the instructions about when you need a police certificate does it mention anything about passport validity?!
 
Thank u susie&sm1. Susie i heard somewhere and was confused so asking here. Thanks for your reply. I am already in USA as an f1 but doing CP back in country......yes i was above 16...do you suggest any links whre i need to follow for PCC...i googled but still couldnt figure it out for UK PCC..
 
It's all in the instructions for selectees, there are general instructions on what civil documents you need, and the reciprocity by country pages explain how to get them for particular countries. You don't need to google, you just need to follow the link from your selection letter and then all the pages from there.

Btw you say you are a dependent, may I ask how old you are?

I had assumed you were dependent as child when you said on F1 visa but I am now guessing you are a spouse? Age only matters for children (under 21).

Yes, please read the instructions thoroughly. Don't rely on asking questions on the internet because you may not know what questions to ask...

Fi visa is not a derivative visa, it's the main applicant's student visa - F4 is the derivative visa

I know - I had seen student visa and assumed the poster was a child dependent of the DV winner because of being a student. The first post says DV2014 dependent.Then realised my mistaken assumption.
