Police Certificate!!

Guys !!
I saw a lot of disscussion about the PCC here. But I do not why people are worried about this certificate. We are colllecting a lot of other documents except this PCC. If they are asking from JAN 02 for this certificate, Then what is the problem? We have lot other docs also, So just add this too in your list. And get it from your residence in INdia. I do not think that there will be any problem of getting this PCC. Recently my father got it . This was a faimly based petition. So he just got it from Place of residence. Only matter of day one or at the most 2 days. That\'s it . And you are all done.
So Do not worry at all.

Is it really that simple. Did your father have contacts in Police/VIP\'s.

DId they trouble him for it etc..etc.. Please post in some more details on the process. Thanks.

Not at all. He go it 2nd day. with out any problem. Yes he has some contacts, but not like as u mentioned VIP\'s.
So it should not be a problem. I am also going for CP New Delhi , mine case is employment based.
I-140 Approved 11/27, Case RD at NVC 11/29?
Any idea when I can asepect my interview?

Go to local police station, get a application from there in the name of District head poilice , stating about you that you are living at this place Bla Bla . Then final PCC will be issued by District head quarters. That letter from local police station helps to District Police head quarters. You can go direct district head office, If some one knows you there. Then it will help you .

If your P3 recd. by US Embassy in India by 15th of a month

Expect your interview in 3rd month including that month.
e.g P3 recd by embassy before Jan 15th.
Interview March.
 
PCC

As U mentioned ..living in That place means ..Living in USA or living in Delhi
What is the application for ? I am sure the Police does not understand PCC ?
