My husband is a green card holder living in usa.. and i have a visitors visa to usa.. My question is how often is marital status questioned at us port of entry? i will be travelling with my father.. my husband mentioned that south asian girls are asked strict questions at poe, how far is this true..?

thanks for your reply.. can i travel to us on a previous visitor visa after my marriage to my green card holder husband? what are the chances that i won't get deported..?

My entry to usa was really easy, Just general questions were asked and i even got the six visit stamp on my I94 :) I have another question though. I stayed in the States for 5months and I left the country in October. I am once again planning another visit to States in April for 10 days. My question in will the immigration officer be concerned about the duration of my previous stay? and is it okay to travel back to usa after 7months?

No genuine visitor to the US should ever spend more than 6 months in the US during any rolling 12 month window. Stick to this and you should be okay.
