Is it compulsory that your wife also needs to accompany you back to US after interview,iam expecting interview in June and my wife she has to stay till August in India,iam planning to be back immediately after interview.

Also is it okay to get PCC certificate for me in US and for my wife in India??

Any suggestions please.

It is not compulsory. Your wife can join you later. Make sure you mention that during your CP interview when you had over your documents.
Assuming that you are in US for couple of years you will not need a PCC from Indian police. Get one for each applicant from your nearest Indian Embassy.

iam in USA from 2000-2003 and am in India frm 2003 May -2004 Sepetember and now am back in US from past 5months.
still you think i can apply for PCC frm US itself
 
It is better to take PCC from India too if you can.Since you may have family members there, they can help you.

AND take PCC from US as well.

You never know with the Consulates.
