The procedure is similar to all POE in the states. Stand in line like everyone else, get fingerprinted, asked a few questions and thats pretty much it. U can make address changes if you want to.

they don't even usually ask you any questions. :) My parents didn't speak any English when they arrived. The officer didn't ask them anything at all, just processed their papers, got FPs done, and that's it. :)

I have used JFK but as tourist, and at that time the waiting was 30-45 min, than 5 min fingerprints, few questions, stamp on passport and one form (I do not remember what form was this but was like how long we could stay in USA) and then we went to take our luggage.
So I wonder if you are with DV visa do you wait in same line with tourists or in some other faster line. And how long is the procedure for activation of GC do we have to go in some other separate office etc, etc.

same line as tourists, since you are not a resident yet. Then the officer usually takes you to a separate room (with or without an additional line). Then you get processed. I-94 is not required. The procedure itself is about 5 minutes, it's the waiting that is usually long.
If you are connecting to another flight from JFK, make sure you have at least 3-4 hours between the planes. My parents' processing and waiting in line took 2 hours.
