POE in Vancouver, BC

Hi,

Could somebody please share their experience with POE in Vancouver. Is a POE at the airport a good choice? Is it better to use car crossing? Which one?

Also, am I allowed to enter the US by car, get I-94 stamped and immediately go back home to Vancouver? Or I have to be entering with intention to proceed to my new work?
 
Never used the Vancouver airport for a TN but I can recommend the Blaine Truck Crossing. I've done 4 TN's there 2 in the last 6 months. Aside from them being really busy I was always successful.
 
Blaine is good. I got 5 TN through there.

You have to say that you are proceeding your new work, otherwise they are not going to give you TN at that day.
 
Are they again asking "Are you going/reporting to work today?" at the POE's?
I was asked this in November but not asked when I went back 1st week of March.
 
I'm not sure if this is a late reply but I got my TN in mid May this year at YVR....and it was totally fine. The officer I got was very friendly and read all my documentation and it was approved. I breathed a sigh of relief and I told the officer that I was hopeful that it would be approved and then he asked me "Why wouldnt it be approved?". So I guess it depends on the officer as I was a little nervous because of all the horror stories I've heard, but in the end, it was fine.
