Plz help..H1 expiry as on 24 april, am i in status if i just apply for transefer of visa before tha

Hi All, my H1 is getting expired on April 24 from company A, and my transfer of H1 is being done by another company B, the company B said they have filed for my H1 on 30 March,how long does it take for a receipt date at vermont from 30 March, so that i can be in status?

You are in status if you have proof of mailing the H1 transfer <EOM>
