plz help a question on notice of action

I was terminated at company A on 3/31/2006 and before that I found company B that could transfer my H-1B to their company. I asked them to file H-1B for me and asked them my start day was 4/3/06. They filed my case and when I checked my new notice of action (form I-797) and found Valid was from 5/3/2006 to 4/3/2009. But the receipt date is April 3,2006 and notice date is May 23, 2006 and I also checked the petition materials from company B and found my beginning employment date was 4/3/06.

My question is that I was terminated on 3/31/2006 from company A but the new notice of action (form I-797) displayed I worked for company B from 5/3/06. There is more than one-month gap between the two dates. Does it matter?

Do you have similar situation when you transfer you H1-B?:mad: :mad:
 
It deos not matter.

You are in status. keep the copy of H1 receipt notice for future reference.
