Hi Pls anyone help me out..Am currently working for A company in L1, but changed my status to H1b to B company 2 months back.But still am working in A company since i didnt get any jon from B company. Is that technicaly correct?.What will happen to my H1b status now.I prefer to work for A company since its a nice opputunity and a 1 yr contract. Or shal I quit A company and try out for H1b jobs??
Secondly as my husband is GC I wish to apply for dependent GC..will there be any issue in filing since i am in L1 although changed my status to H1..
 
If your COS came with an I-94 dated before today and you are still working for the L1 company tomorrow, you are out of status and need to either exit and re-enter on L1 or begin work with your H1B company immediately.

Your GC spouse can file for your GC. The wait is currently 5-6 years during which time you must maintain your own status. Since you have used L1 time, you will not likely have enough H1B and L1 time left to remain in the US to gain GC unless your spouse gains citizenship before your time expires.

You apparently do not understand the process and need to read the USCIS website.

If I want to retain the L1 ,can I go to canada and come back with L1 stamping.Is their any risk involved going to canada
