******* Pls respond: Cant I file 7th year extension....

My 6th year deadline for h1b expires march 20 2005, my gc labor was filed around march 10th 2004, my lawyer is telling she cant file extension to 7th year till march 10th 2005 . Is this true, can I not file NOW with extension date after march 19th??? This is what I had read about, could any gurus pls respond to this question.
