Hi,
My wife and I got married on February 19th, 2010 and my I-485 was approved on March 03rd, 2010. My Permanent residence is category EB-3.
Based on my understanding, my wife is eligible to file I-485 (following-to-join), as long as my priority date (December 06,2002) is current.
However her application was rejected based on the following reasons:
The check amount is incorrect.
------ We will send the check with correct amount.
The application hasn't been fully completed. -A#
------ My wife never has a Alien registration number, since she is on TN visa. I leave it blank. Shall I put "None" or use my alien registration number?
The underlying petition indicated is ineligible. As a result, the application package is being return to you.
----- What does this mean? If I correct the mistakes mentioned above, will the petition be eligible?
According to the I-797C, I shall resubmit the application to the USCIS address list on the bottom of the notice, which is P.O. Box 21281, Phoenix, AZ.
But my I-485 was submitted to Nebraska Service Center, shouldn’t my wife's application be send to the Nebraska Service Center (her rejected application was send to the Nebraska Service Center)?
Also, in the I-485 Part2. shall I pick a or b?
