Obviously you haven't even bothered to use the Search functionality so kindly provided by Rajiv Khanna and immigrationportal.com! I suggest the next time you do use that, since that will definitely help answer all your basic questions and only post new threads when you have a doubt!
(FYI - AP does not need any documents to validate it, so technically you don't need to carry anything other than it. Research previous posts for a more detailed standby list!)

strange "sponsor" questions on AP entry (SFO)
recently (Nov. 12th), my wife and I returned from a short trip to India and used our second AP to enter. On all previous trips the AP entry had been a non-event. However, this time in the "Secondary Processing" room, the officer asked "Who is sponsoring you" when I said we are entering on APD and are currently in the AOS period. I stated AOS/APD and that I had copies of the I-485 receipt/I-140 etc if he wanted to see them since I did not understand the "Sponsor" part of the question. the officer looked even more confused and me and said "No i dont need to see anything except the APD but who sponsored you?". Again, I had no answer except asking him to look it up with the A-numbers since all details will be on his screen rather than me risking a wrong answer...
Anyone know what that officer was looking for ? After typing in the A-#s, he quickly stamped the I-94/passport etc and handed them back so we had no problems and the whole thing took less than 5 minutes....
