Pls advise-Green card Processing and H1 transfer

Currently iam on a H1 with the current employer which is valid till October 2003 and also filed for I-140. But now iam moving to a different employer with a new H1. My old employer promised he would carry on the green card processing and not cancel the H1. Now, if i move onto the payroll of the new company under a new H1, will the current H1 becomes invalid?? Can i go back onto the old H1??

After you get a few paystubs from new employer your old company H1 might not be valid. You need to keep getting paystubs from the concerned H1 employer to keep the H1 valid.
